Mindful Eating Expert Advise...

ORIGIONAL PUBLISH DATE: 2009

I was asked to write this Mindful Eating series because I am a foodie, I don’t believe in dieting and am not overweight.  Not because I am an expert...

A funny thing happened on the way to a yoga class.  I was really looking forward to meeting Brooke Boone, the author of “Holy Yoga,” while I was in Scottsdale AZ.  I had located a class she was teaching and even though it meant getting up at 4:30 a.m. while on vacation, I woke up without the aid of an alarm clock to drive an hour to have this experience.  When I arrived, Brooke was not teaching.  I wasn’t disappointed though, because instead she was practicing on the mat next to me.  So I did get to meet her and experience a HOLY YOGA class. It was lovely in many ways...

WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH MINDFUL EATING YOU ASK?

Brooke was not teaching the yoga class, but Michelle May was! Author of Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat.  http://www.eatwhatyoulovelovewhatyoueat.com/  Providence!  You can download the first chapter of her book for free through her website.  Michelle is an M.D. and she is an expert.  AND a lovely person. So for a change from my waxing philosophical, here is a good place for information and inspiration!

Mangi bene!
