bugs in your brain...

They Blend in…

This bugs ability to blend in with garden made it nearly impossible to see her. Of course this is built in protection from predators… but look at her, she’s gorgeous. I’m glad I didn’t miss her.

There is more than meets the eye…

There are, of course, grosser things lurking in the garden too, weird fat white worms that eat roots and tiny mites that can destroy plants just to name a few.

Metaphor for your mind

It’s like this in your mind too. Beauty going unnoticed due to negativity bias, and destructive thought patterns sabotaging your best intentions.

Take a look

The garden of your mind needs cultivating the same as any garden. Planting, weeding, fertilizing, harvesting… but all of this requires attention. When is the last time you paid attention to your thoughts? If you’ve never done this before it can feel daunting, scary even, but I promise the rewards will outweigh the fear that is keeping you from taking a look.
