We live in a world with so much- most of us don’t need another thing, and the shiny anticipation of the wrapped package is probably always worth more than what’s inside. There we can be in wonder of a combination of what might be in there and the simple gesture of being given a gift. “For me?!” That’s joy charged. 

Deepest Desire 

Even if that package contains their deepest desire for the latest video gaming system or an American girl doll, give it a minute, or a day or week and it won’t hold the same excitement or value it did before it was opened. Things disappoint.
