Right size your intention

I'm always reminding my students to, "remember your intention," throughout class. Recently I shifted the way I set my own intention.

I realized mine was always so enormous it became, ineffective, nebulous like a platitude. My coach, the brilliant Keisha Dixon, asks me, what do you intend, "just for today?"

This has changed everything for me. Instead of the hugeness of, "I embody Love," that I would keep the same for years, I am shifting towards day long intentions, like, "finding joy," or "playing with creativity."

This really takes the pressure off and allows my organic human nature to shift with the day in front of me, and that feels a lot more like embodying Love anyway.

Won't you join me in setting an intention, just for today?
